Integrated quasioptical submillimeter-wave oscillators based on high-temperature superconductor (HTSC) Josephson junctions on a bicrystal boundary are designed, fabricated, and experimentally investigated. The junctions are integrated with three types of planar antennas: log-periodic, double-dipole, and double-slot. To increase the radiated power, narrow the radiation pattern, and decrease the oscillation linewidth, the antennas with junctions are incorporated into phased arrays. A cryogenic submillimeter-wave spectrometer and tester are designed with the use of such sources.
