摘要：

Corrosion in modern thermal power plants operating under the conditions of desalination of making water and 100% desalination of turbine condensate is considered. The advantages of neutral water conditions are pointed out. Possible replacement of brass by stainless austenitic steels in low-pressure heaters is discussed.
