摘要：
Computer-aided surgical technology has benefited surgeons, physicians, and especially patients at Mayo Clinic by letting doctors more clearly view potential surgical sites and surrounding areas before an operation. The technology also lets physicians better evaluate surgical results and procedures, leading to fewer postsurgical problems, better patient treatment, and lower health care costs. The next step will be the use of Mayo Clinic's Virtual Reality Assisted Surgery Program system in the operating room.
