45°-prism method for measuring the refractive indices of crystals

摘要
A new method for measuring the refractive indices of crystals was put forward and introduced. Its advantages lie in that: (1) the precision of the measured refractive indices is high; (2) the sample to be measured can be of small size; (3) its measurement range on refractive indices can be extended to as high as about 2.3. Its measurement principle was introduced, and its errors were analyzed. Besides, an experiment was also made as an illustrative example.
