摘要
A method is developed for describing the propagation of a narrow beam of radio waves along an intersatellite path crossing the limb area. The distinctive feature of this area is that the transverse gradient of the refractive index along this area varies by an order of magnitude. The propagation of a sounding beam of millimeter waves through an ozone layer is analyzed on the basis of this method.
