摘要：
River mercury migration has been examined from field observations. The roles of the water in suspended particles in transporting man-made mercury are considered. The significance of the drifts as a source of secondary pollution is defined. A model is formulated that defines mercury distribution along a river under the conditions of steady-state flow.
