Kompositmaterialien auf der Basis von Elastomer-Hydrogel

Properties of composite material natural rubber-hydrogel (lightly cross/inked polyacrylamide) were studied. Different concentrations of hydrogel make possible to change both the degree of swelling of composites in water and the permeation of NaCl solution through the swollen composites. Tensile strenght values of prepared materials in dry, equilibrium swollen and dried states were determined as well. Results obtained allow to suppose technical application of the composite as hydrophilic material possessing acceptable mechanical properties both in dry and swollen state.
