摘要
This article describes the use of finite element analysis in the test lab. Examples are presented for test fixture and shaker design, pre-test planning and test simulation, and post-test data analysis. The finite element program used is MSC/pal 2, a general-purpose program that runs on personal computers (PCs). In addition, a software link is demonstrated between MSC/pal 2 and VIPAC, a general-purpose data acquisition and processing program that also runs on PCs.
