Daily unit operation dispatch with equal risk constraints

Based on a new viewpoint, the problem of daily unit operation dispatch was studied. The dynamic programming model for daily unit operation dispatch with the constraints of equal risk and lead time of units was established to minimize the objective function of spinning reserve, and an algorithm was also proposed. This technique combined with the general optimal unit commitment techniques can effectively solve the complicated problem of economic operation with the consideration of reliability and security for large scale generation system.
