摘要：
Problems associated with coupling of subsystems and instruments of different manufacturers to a total system are discussed. It is reported that instrument manufacturers have lately paid more attention to these problems and to their elimination. The use of international standards, such as IEC and IEEE, is pointed out. Newly developed integrated circuits provide simple coupling of microprocessors with measuring instrumentation.
