摘要：
Producing natural rubber products for biomedical applications requires an awareness of biocompatibility concepts. The product must have appropriate characteristics, in addition to suitable mechanical and physical properties. One should also recognize that no biomaterial yet produced can duplicate the characteristics of human tissue - a complex cellular wonder. This article offers some insight on design considerations necessary for improving the performance of 'natural latex. '
