摘要
The concept of stability is defined. Conventional methods in determining the stability of non-linear systems are mentioned. One of those conventional methods, the method of isoclines, is illustrated but it has a shortcoming, which is mentioned. A method, developed by the authors, captioned: the modified isocline method, corrects that deficiency and is presented. How the developed method could be applied in real-life; for aircraft stability, is highlighted. It makes the isocline method and its trajectory plot a concise and complete procedure for determining the stability of non-linear systems. It is significant contribution to the advancement of control engineering by the authors.
