摘要：
Speech recognition and synthesis are employed in a variety of assistive devices and accessibility features for use by people with disabilities. The artice briefly describes aids for deaf and hearing-impaired people, for blind and visually impaired people, and for people with motor and speech impairments. The measures to improve accessibility of electronic equipment for people with certain disabilities are discussed.
