Numerical simulation of the three-dimensional turbulent flow field in a centrifugal impeller

摘要：
The steady three-dimensional imcompressible Navier-Stokes equations and K-Ε turbulence model equations were solved numerically using penalty finite element method to predict the three-dimensional turbulent flow field in a centrifugal compressor impeller. The numerical results revealed clearly the jet-wake discharge flow character and the secondary flow pattern of the centrifugal impeller.
