NEW BAYER POLYCHLOROPRENES OPTIMISED FOR EXTRUSION.

This paper describes chemistry, processing conditions, curing and properties of three grades of polychloroprenes which give a favourable combination of processing behavior, especially in extrusion processes and vulcanisate properties. The relationships between the new grades and the standard grades to which they approximately correspond in respect of viscosity and crystallisation are shown. Extensive test data are presented in tables and curves.
