METHOD FOR SELECTING GENERAL HELP IN INTERACTIVE SYSTEMS.

Elsewhere a method was described which provides contextural help for the operator based on the location of the cursor or an equivalent device being used in the system. The operator is not required to select from a menu of Help topics. Under certain circumstances the operator may desire more general help which gives the operator an overview of the task or the entire panel being displayed. A method for initiating the general Help function is described.
