摘要
The time dependence of maximum tensions in the range 10-6-10-13 s in spalling and specific (by surface unit) fracture energy is analyzed on the basis of the experimental data on spalling fracture of geometrically similar specimens of some metals (copper, steel, titanium, lead, Al+20%SiC) and spalling fracture of specimens from the steel St3 in rarefaction shock waves. Strong scale effects of the energetic nature were observed in spalling fracture in metals. It is noted that the use of rarefaction shock waves in cutting steel structures allows one to reduce the expenses of explosives by an order of value.
