摘要：
The work described was undertaken as part of a broader investigation of centrifugally cast spheroidal graphite iron pipe. It describes some effects of variations in silicon, manganese, chromium, and phosphorus content of the iron on carbide formation and subsequent decomposition during heat treatment. The effect of carbide on tensile and impact properties and the fracture mechanisms involved were also determined.
