摘要：
The use of liquid silicone rubber for the injection molding of elastomeric components is now well established. Its benefits include automation and fast cycle times. The advantages of silicone elastomers in many applications are well known. To obtain the maximum advantages from these unique products, a thorough understanding of the process steps and equipment is needed. This article has attempted to discuss in some detail the design and use of equipment involved in LSR processing. As the applications for LSR expand, so does the knowledge of how best to use these products.
