Twelve equations of mathematical models of the strengthening effect of internal oxidation were checked by yield strength determinations and measurements of particle size and distances, using silver alloys containing 0. 25 to 1. 35% Mg. M. Ashby's equation was found to correspond most closely to the experimental results. A modified equation is presented.
