摘要
The need to provide fast and reliable processing of sound film within close tolerances led to the design of the Computer Controlled Processing System. Quite independently of exposure variations, it is also necessary to control the process chemistry itself, both by way of chemical analysis, and in the form of conventional sensitometric strips. The new system is designed to produce the most accurate and consistent results, and place the least possible demands on the processing operator. All the variables that can have an effect on the final density of the track are taken into account and controlled by the computer.
