摘要
The paper deals with the phenomenon occurring in a communication receiver in the presence of a spurious signal, concentrating particular on the additive narrowband distortion. The application of the Volterra series makes it possible to determine intermodulation effects in the presence of an interfering signal, and points to the common background on the nonlinear phenomenon. Intermodulation properties have been determined by applying an intercept point whose coordinates are calculated analytically. An analysis of the expediency of this measure is offered together with a discussion of the relations between different intermodulation distortion measures.
