Dynamic characteristic analysis of truss structures based on probability

The problem of dynamic analysis based on reliability of truss structures are studied in the paper. Considering the randomness of both physical parameters (elastic modulus and mass density) of structural materials and the geometric size of bars, the element's and global stiffness and mass matrices have been built, the structural dynamic characteristics are analyzed based on probability, and the moments of random variable of natural frequency are derived from the Rayleigh's quotient. The method of structural dynamic analysis based on probability is developed. Two examples are given for illustration.
