摘要
This paper describes a CMOS variable gain amplifier (VGA) circuit that maintains a 3dB bandwidth greater than 110MHz throughout its gain range. The VGA provides a 70dB-gain control range in 2dB steps. The gain is controlled digitally through a decoder. The VGA is fully differential and is implemented in a standard 3V, 0.6 μm CMOS process. The overall supply current is below 6mA.
