James Richardson is Associate Professor of Management at the University of Hawaii College of Business Administration where he teaches business strategy and international business. Professor Richardson received his PhD from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; MS. in operations research from MIT; and B.A. from the University of Hawaii. Karl Kim is Associate Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He received a PhD from MIT and his undergraduate education from Brown University. He is currently the principal investigator for the Hawaii CODES (Crash Outcome Data Evaluation) Project; funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation; National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Lei Li is a Research Associate employed on the Hawaii CODES Project at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He holds a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Hawaii;
