摘要
The purpose of this paper is to present the applications of the canonical approximation technique to performance analysis of multishop packet radio networks. The canonical approximation gives a closed-form approximation of global performance measures. The computational complexity of the method is independent of the size of the network, whereas the precision increases exponentially with the size of the system. The method is applied to analyze some packet radio networks operating under CSMA with perfect capture and C-BTMA protocols.
