The influence of synthesis conditions on the electrochemical properties of acetylene soot activated by manganese dioxide

摘要
In the paper, an efficient method of preparing catalysts for electrochemical cathodes is discussed. It is shown that the electrochemical activity of air cathodes based on acetylene carbon black activated by manganese dioxide exceeds significantly that of electrodes based on nickel-cobalt spinel or activated carbon. It is noted that the activity of the proposed air cathodes can attain the value for electrodes containing noble metals.
