摘要：

A prototype program is developed to simulate a discrete event using JAVA so that the prototype can be used for simulation on the Web and can process a hierarchical model. The objective and main function of the prototype together with its main structure and the relationship between blocks were described. The system operation and the method for the simulation algorithm were stated. The multiple input and output problem in the hierarchical model was discussed.
