摘要
The SF//6 gs insulated substation offers a number of distinct advantages including smaller installation space, higher reliability and labor-saving maintenance and inspection work. However, since the equipment is costlier than that used in conventional type substations, its use has been limited largely to sites subject to severe restrictions as is the case with city substations of power suppliers. Yet, with the concentration of power demand, soaring land prices, and growing construction costs, coupled with needs for maintenance-free operation, there is a rising demand for SF//6 gas insulated substations. Meanwhile, as the conventional isolated-phase type construction is being replaced by a three-phase common tank type construction in a model change for rationalization and size reduction, and a metering outfit for power supply and other special units for general industrial use have been developed, SF//6 gas insulated substations are being considered for use in general industries. Described are the features, construction, protective devices, make-up, and arrangement of a newly developed SF//6 gas insulated substation of the three-phase common tank type designed for general industrial purposes.
