A linear probabilistic wind-wave model is used as A linear probabilistic wind-wave model is used as a basis for derivation of an analytic expression for the angle spectrum, which characterizes the statistical distribution of the energy of the waves over their directions of propagation. A procedure is proposed for determination of the angle spectrum of a moving wave field. The angle distribution of total wave energy obtained from actual measurements by the procedure described here is presented.
