摘要
A mathematical model of the magnetic and magnetostrictive properties of soft magnetic materials has been developed. The model employs statistical mechanics and uses some ad hoc assumptions to avoid modeling at an atomic level. These assumptions include those involving the energy terms in the medium and the global equilibrium. The Boltzmann statistics were used to derive the volume fractions of discrete mesoscopic magnetizations in the medium.
