CYCLE TIMER CONVERTS AIR PUMP TO METERING PUMP.

In the standard air drive, integral limit valves automatically reverse the directional valve, thereby controlling the air piston motion in both directions. In the new modified versions, the directional valve controlling the air piston is triggered to reverse under the control of the Autopulse repeat cycle timer. The timer section can be all pneumatic, or incorporate a 12V dc, solid-state electronic timer to signal the momentary air-pulse. Whichever timer is used, it sends an air pulse to a separate pilot line to the directional valve, which signals the air piston to reciprocate exactly one cycle, then wait for the next pilot air pulse.
