摘要
The conditions of introduction of oxygen in a jacket of gaseous or vapor fuel into the converter bath are considered. The appropriate relations between the gaseous fuel and oxygen pressures during scavenging of the metal in bottom blast converters are determined. The advisability of using liquid fuel as the protective jacket from the standpoint of maintenance of the converter bottom and optimization of the most important indices of steel production in a bottom blast oxygen converter is demonstrated.
