摘要：
Problems pertaining to the long-term development of the energy complex of the Ukraine are considered. The basic trends in the demand for fuel and energy for the national economy of the Republic are indicated. The importance of implementing an active energy-conservation policy is indicated, together with individual directions. At present the construction of six atomic power plants (APP) is being undertaken in the Ukraine; the decision has also been made to construct an atomic central heat and power plant in Odessa.
