摘要：
The installation of a 3-D CAE/CAD/CAM system at a transformer manufacturing plant has tripled the production capabilities for the company's transformer nameplates, a critical part of transformer manufacture It used to take about a week to produce 20 nameplates. Now 20 nameplates can be produced each day if necessary. The company designs and manufactures transformers for a number of major U.S. utilities for residential and industrial use.
