摘要
The petroleum industry in Australia encompasses the full spectrum of oil and gas activities. Althrough the industry has historically been concerned with domestic issues, Australia is now a significant exporter of liquid petroleum gas (LPG), crude oil, condensate, and refined products, and it will soon be an exporter of liquid natural gas (LNG). In recent years the refining industry has become highly sensitive to petroleum industry developments in the Asia-Pacific region. To be able to compete in the international arena and for reasons of domestic demand/supply pressures, refiners will need to develop flexible and efficient refinery configurations.
