摘要：
This paper identifies innovative approaches to rural public transportation at federal, regional, state and local levels. Examples presented by the review of literature include federal and regional task forces; state assistance with planning, management, funding and cash-flow, coordination, and insurance; and local level approaches to service provision, cost savings, revenue sources, coordination user-side subsidies, maintenance and promotion.
