Superconductivity in '1201' lead cuprate

摘要
A new member of lead cuprates whose crystal structure consists of the (Pb/Cu)-O single-layer and Cu-O6 octahedron, called the '1201' structure, has been synthesized. At a nominal composition of Pb0.6SrLaCu1.5Oy, an almost single-phase sample (tetragonal a=0.378 nm, c=0.867 nm) was obtained, and superconductivity with the Tc(zero) of 25 K was observed.
