摘要
This paper reviews different methods of ocean power generation and attempts to discuss briefly the aspects concerning tapping of ocean power by tidal power generation and by the method of the ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC). The paper discusses the following aspects: ocean power global scenario, tidal power generation, ocean power by OTEC, ocean power from waves, ocean power by Kelp bio-conversion, ocean power by salinity gradients, and power from ocean currents.
