Problem of Motion of the Oil-Water Contour in a Three-Row System of Wells.

A complex potential of the flow of two liquids with similar physico-chemical properties is derived. The filtration of these liquids takes place in an infinite uniform stratum. The system of stratum development is that of linear block development with production wells laid out in three rows between injection rows. Based on the complex potential, formulas are derived for a family of equipotentials of flow functions as well as the law of motion in the implicit form of a point on the contour of the interface between the two liquids. By computer-aided calculation in accordance with the formulas derived, it is possible to determine the coefficient of the coverage of a stratum with the effective process (e. g. flooding) in a three-row system of wells.
