摘要：
A combination desuperheater heat recovery unit and a specialized water-to-water heat pump were installed in a 130 head dairy to heat process water. As operated, the system affected a 53 percent savings in water heating energy consumption as compared to electric water heaters. Proposed optimized operation of the system may allow a 90 percent reduction in required energy consumption.
