摘要
A continuous flow kinetic model was developed to describe and predict the effects of temperature on the toxicity of a specific oil refinery waste to the green alga, Selenastrum capricornutum. The model is based on Michaelis-Menten enzyme inhibition kinetics, with ammonium nitrogen-limited, continuous flow algal cultures between 20 degree and 28 degree C. Phenol is the controlling inhibitor. The model was applied to continuous flow algal cultures exposed to an actual oil refinery waste. 73 refs.
