Programs RHLIMIT and CONDCURE deal with humidity and condensation in existing buildings. Program RHLIMIT enables the limiting relative humidity which can be permitted inside a room, to be calculated, without condensation taking place on surfaces or inside walls. The value depends upon the detailed design of the walling system, its degree of insulation and the position and effectivity of vapour barriers incorporated. Program CONDCURE give the extra ventilation needed to prevent condensation taking place in a specific room. The calculation is based upon limiting relative humidity as calculated from RHLIMIT and the living habits of people inside the dwelling.
