The significant advantages of rectifying recharging units (RRU) can only be completely utilized when they are properly adjusted. This article describes the characteristics for adjusting an RRU of the VAZP-380/220-40/80 type (manufactured after 1974), which supplement the factory instructions, as well as certain improvements in the RRU circuit. After proper adjustment, rectifying recharging devices of the VAZP type function reliably and require virtually no maintenance.
