Analysis of bending of unsymmetrical laminated plates using reduced bending stiffness method

摘要
In this paper the reduced bending stiffness (RBS) method was used to treat the bending of unsymmetrically laminated plates with the effects of transverse shear deformation, which was considered as symmetrical problem in form. Then, their solving procedures were greatly simplified. The numerical results show that the RBS method is found to yield sufficient accuracy when numbers of laminates are greater than 2.
