摘要：
The syncrude obtained by the hydrogenation of Baragolai coal in Assam has been compared with Nahorkatiya petroleum. The distillate neutral oils of the hydrogenation product and the petroleum fractions bear a general similarity, which implies that both are good stocks for gasoline production, but require further hydrogenation for upgrading to middle distillates. The syncrude in this respect may require a deeper hydrorefining due to its more polynuclear character. The other properties of the two crudes have also been studied.
