Self propagation high-temperature synthesis of titanium nitride in pressurized nitrogen atmosphere

摘要
The titanium nitride containing higher content of nitrogen was prepared by self-propagation high-temperature synthesis of titanium powder in pressurized nitrogen atmosphere, and the effects of the bulk density of reactants, the nitrogen pressure and the diluent content on the combustion wave velocity and the conversion rate to titanium nitride were investigated.
