The IPC Halogen-Free Materials Task Group aims to establish ppm requirements for bromine and chlorine, and to present the requirements to IPC for approval. The number chosen will be based on existing requirements, so no company or its materials are limited. The group will also make sure to clarify the difference between ppm requirements for specific materials and the entire printed circuit board.
