摘要
Consistent calculations of hydrogen diffusion in steel weldments are only possible by using exact values of the hydrogen diffusion coefficient. In a previous document (IX-1767-94) a scatterband of hydrogen diffusion coefficients in microalloyed and low carbon steels was established, which showed the diffusion coefficient to be mainly dependent on temperature, but also on various internal and surface effects. In order to allow a worst and best case assessment of hydrogen diffusion also in alloyed steel weldments, scatterbands for hydrogen diffusion coefficients in ferritic-martensitic and high alloyed austenitic steels have been evaluated, also based on a literature study of the most important publications. The values of hydrogen diffusion coefficients in binary iron systems covering a wide range of chromium and nickel contents are given at temperatures of 20, 350, 650 and 1050°C as well as values in low and high alloyed steels having a ferritic or martensitic microstructure at room temperature and in austenitic and duplex stainless steels.
