摘要
A two-coordinate electromagnetic vibrator which creates two mutually perpendicular vibrations has been tested and is described. The normal vibration is intended for periodic contacting between the electrode and the part, while the tangential vibration is intended to improve the finish of the alloyed surface. The surface finish is also improved by migration of the spark discharge zone along the surface of the past, ″smearing″ of the drop during sliding impact of the electrode, and electromechanical polishing of the applied coating.
